Wonderful news for our owners of lot numbers 311 to 345 (also known as Stage 3A and B)
We finally received the Construction Certificate just over three weeks ago and this is such a relief. The roadworks and pipe laying team arrived within three days of same, including heavy earth moving equipment and road construction works to commence the work immediately.
We are advised that, subject to adverse weather conditions or any untoward outside interference, these works should be finished by the end of the year. However, further works such as electrical, NBN and finishing processes will not be completed until approximately March/April.
You will observe in the attached photos/video the significant heavy construction works already underway, construction equipment and supplies/provisions to complete the project. Some six kilometers of water piping is currently in progress to completion.
The major delay has been the pointless and irrelevant tunnel/bridge over the Princess Highway. We were advised to submit a further development application (DA 0517/24) to Council in the attempt to eliminate further delays. This DA was submitted in April and exhibited by the Council for public comment. The council is progressing its assessment of the proposal.
As to lots 301 to 310 (also known as Stage 5), the Eurobodalla Shire Council has all the elements within its control to release this stage for registration and we are at the behest of their internal processes to release these blocks to our VERY patient clients. Our clients of Stage 5 will be advised immediately once the lots are registered.
Thank you again to all our wonderful clients, family and friends in what has been a very challenging process and project.
In the meantime, if you have any other queries, please call Milton in our Sales Office
on 02 44724777.
Kind Regards
The Bay Ridge Project Team
